I'm so glad you stopped by to get to know me a little better!
I'm a Southern lady in New Orleans with a big heart for the hurting and a light to bring out into the world. I'm in nursing school (graduating May 2015!), and though it feels like it's taking forever, I love learning new things every day. I'm very grateful for the opportunity I've been given to be here and to be learning these things so that I can share the light in a very physical, overt way.
Now you might be thinking, "What light is she talking about?" And that light is described perfectly in John 1:1-5 (ESV).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it...
I am only full of light because He saved me through grace. I just want to share it as best I can: and thankfully, He gave me that way by allowing me to attend nursing school.
These sorts of things are what you'll find on this blog, along with reviews of every new thing that comes into my life that I love, some sappiness about my sweet beau (T), some recipes, some stories of things that melted my heart, my personal favorite - Sunday Thanks - and a myriad of other things I come up with. Who knows? It'll be fun!
So won't you come by again?
Til next time,
